Chrystal and Aspen (7mo)

Hi and welcome.  This is my last journey through pregnancy and I wanted to record as much of it as possible.  I'm   Chrystal,  a 28 year old mother of 3 daughters and expecting baby #4 on 11/14/01.
Let me tell you a little bit about my wonderful family.  First,
Chelcey is my oldest daughter and is 8 years old and starting the 3rd grade.  Courtney is 5 1/2yrs. And will be starting kindergarten this fall (scary!).  The love of my life and my best friend is Darryl- father to my newest daughter, Aspen Grace who was born just 7 mo. ago on 11/30/00.
March 2001 we found out that we were expecting another bundle of joy on 11/14/01. This came quite a shock as Aspen was just 2  1/2 mo. old when we found out. (BIG shock!).  I went through a lot of emotions right off the bat.  I was almost certain I was pregnant before I even tested, I started feeling all the same signs as I did with my other pregnancies, (
sore boobs, pulling sensation in my tummy, lower back ache, etc) I waited until I was a couple days late- and tested! When it took the test all of 7 sec. for the line to appear, there was no denying it- I was pregnant! (AGAIN!).  My hands started shaking, I was a nervous wreak! "I can't be pregnant this soon- I just can't be!" .

I had a miscarriage at 10 wks., just 2 1/2 mo. before we conceived Aspen so knowing that I was pregnant (again)..  I felt like I was going to be pregnant forever.  Darryl was (a lot) more calm than I was.  He was excited, and it showed.  It happened a lot sooner than we both had planned (and wanted)- but God knows best and who can question him?  So, as the days went on (probably the 3rd day) I actually started getting a little excited about the new life growing inside of me.  Of course, the thing I "wasn't" excited about was packing on the pounds (again…) and sporting around another large belly.  I gained 58lbs with Aspen and still had about 15lbs to go not to mention the 14lbs I put on with the pregnancy right before her, which I hadn't lost.  So, all I kept thinking was "MY POOR BODY!".
After I had my sonogram at 7wks. and saw the baby was just fine, heartbeat all all, I started announcing the news to family and friends.  We heard a lot of "You're kidding!" remarks but once everyone saw that we were excited about it, they too changed their way of thinking.
I thought it would be a good idea to start a  webpage and record different feelings and events through-out my 4th (and last!) pregnancy.  As I write this, I am 19wks.  along and just started my 5th. Month.  The time has really flown by and I think it's because I've been so busy with Aspen :) who has TIME to think about it?  I've had a very easy pregnancy this time around (so different than with Aspen)- and if it wasn't for this huge belly that made it's appearance at around 7wks.., and the 5 days of morning sickness, I wouldn't even think I was pregnant. It's been a piece of cake (so far!).
So, from time to time I will post new pregnancy pictures, ultrasound pictures, and update you (friends and family) how the journey through pregnancy
(once again) is going.
Thanks for checking in on us and we hope you visit us often.  Before I know it, we'll have our newest little angel here!
