Week 25- My back feels like it's going to crack, it really does. By the end of the day, I'm so sore, hunched over and grip over and over again from the pain, that I know Darryl must think "Oh my goodness, what have I gotten myself into?" Being pregnant over and over again in the last few years, I can only imagine how messed up my back is right now. My mother was right, if you think about it- I'm like an elephant. They carry their babies for 2 years-- and I've been pregnant for almost 2 years! (and well, my body is slowly resembling an elephants shape as long as we're on the subject).
Week 30- It's been awhile since I've updated this site. We recently relocated from IL to KY so things have been quite busy. The past few weeks have really taken a toll on me. I feel so much pressure, pain, and aches-- you would think that this baby wanted to come out NOW!
Week 32- Walking is becoming quite the task for me lately. Sure, you could just say I am lazy (smile!) but that's not the case. I've walked to the bus stop to pick up Chelcey & Courtney just to find myself cramping 10 min. later for a few hours. Any form of walking for over 10 min., I'm in pain for the rest of the night. I've had scatic nerve pain SO bad during this pregnancy it's been unreal. The sharp "stabbing" pains radients from the middle of my back to the front of my theighs, inner theighs.. And other places I don't care to mention (smile!). I'm really scared about back labor now since I've been having this for so long now. I had back labor with Courtney, my (almost) 6yr. Old and there is no other pain like it. So, only time will tell.
Week 33- I saw my "new" OB today for the first time. I haven't been to an OB appoint. Since I was 27wks along, so I needed the reassurance that everything is okay. I told her about all the pressure & pain I've been feeling and she said it def. Sounds like rest is needed. Easy for someone else to say who doesn't have a 10 mo. Old to look after and who can't get more than 3 hrs. of sleep at night. (BUT).. I just keep telling myself NOT MUCH LONGER.. And it's true! The days are really starting to go by fast and boy! Am I glad.
33 week Appointment Update: I've only gained 3 lbs since my 27th week of pregnancy which is UNREAL to me. If you saw this body, you would agree- but, I guess the scales don't lie. I'm measuring (fundal height) right on schedule (33wks) and baby is head down (thank goodness!). I knew this from all the pressure and kicks in the ribs (ouch!) but.. It's always a relief when it's confirmed. The fun "internals" start at my next appointment (35wks)-- I can't believe I'm already at my "every" 2wk. Appointments! WOW!!!
Ugh-Oh! Well, daddy knows you're a girl! ( ; Mommy had to get her medical records transferred for her new dr., and on the sono information- it said "Sex"- (F)-- ugh-oh! ( ; So.. Daddy knows you're Savannah now! He didn't know, but mommy did! And here I've kept it a secret THIS long.. ( :
